The centre of attention for green design

The Jim Pattison Centre of Excellence is one of 50 international architectural projects that won a 2012 Green GOOD DESIGN™ Award from the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design.
The Centre of Excellence was selected from among hundreds of submissions from around the world. Members of The European Center’s International Advisory Committee—worldwide leaders in the design industry—served as the jury and selected over 120 products, programs, people, government, environmental planning, and architecture as outstanding examples of Green Design from 27 nations.
The building will be exhibited at a special conference organized by the European Centre and the Chicago Anthenaeum in September. The exhibition opens at the University of Illinois, Champaign/Urbana and will travel around the United States through 2013. A list of all the winners can be viewed on the European Centre’s website.
