Our inaugural segment features Douglass Whiteaker, Principal of Water Technology Inc. of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. Doug’s team is currently working with CEI on the nearly completed Edmonds Pool and Community Centre in Burnaby, BC, which is set to open in January, 2013. They are also about to begin work with us and Ron Fougere Architects on the Wedgwood Aquatics Centre in St. John’s Newfoundland.

Residents are anxious for some form of enclosed community gathering and assembly space, but do not want to create a larger regional destination – Southlands Community Centre is intended to serve the needs of the local community and neighbourhood.
