Robert Parlane’s 20×20: See him present at PechaKucha Night Kelowna
CEI’s Robert Parlane is among the line-up of speakers who will be sharing about innovative technology, and ideas in architecture and urban design in the PechaKucha 20×20 format: 20 images in 20 seconds.
This will take place at Kelowna’s fourth PechaKucha Night on Thursday, December 8 at 7pm at the Kelowna Art Gallery. The event is open to the public with free admission. The evening’s theme is inspired by the exhibition Steve Higgins: All Things Considered: Thoughts About Cities and History, War and Peace, currently at the Kelowna Art Gallery.
PechaKucha was created over 8 years ago in Tokyo as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public. The name comes from the Japanese phrase for “chit chat”. It has now spread to hundreds of cities around the world, with 457 cities having hosted PechaKucha nights.
